The End is in Sight: Things to Look Forward to After Lockdown!

Feeling tired and drained this lockdown? Wondering when this thing will end? Bored of being trapped at home with your parents? Though it might not feel like it, the end is in sight! As the days start to become lighter and temperature slowly warms, spring is approaching and summer is right around the corner! What are you looking forward to? 1. The cinema!

After exhausting nearly every single film on Netflix I am certainly ready for that cinema experience! Overpriced popcorn and a tango ice blast with your friends, oh how I’ve missed it! Films set to be released in 2021/2022 include Cruella, Venom: Let There Be Carnage, Candyman, Scream, Avatar 2, The Batman, Jurassic World: Dominion.

2. Restaurants!

Restaurants! Bored of deliveroo by this point? Or simply just fancy a sit down meal served to you? I know it has been a while. With hospitality rumoured to re open in April, I’m sure we are all excited for a bit of something new! What is your favourite cuisine and where are you heading first once hospitality re opens?

3. The hairdressers!

Having a haircut has proven to be one of the most anticipated post lockdown activities for most people! After nearly a year of on and off lockdowns, we have all found it hard to try and keep control of our hair! Whether it needs a full on treatment or just a bit of refinement, the best of us have become unrecognizable due to our lockdown locks! 

4. Holidays!

As much as I love the UK, it’s not really cutting it. Rumours suggest that by the summer period, some travel might be permitted. I think I can speak for all of us when I say that a little bit of sun and a dip in the pool would be a nice treat after this lockdown.
