Do you want to fund BiG?

Acknowledgments

We would like to thank all of those that have funded BiG to deliver activities to support and inspire children and young people over the years!

The government in partnership with the National Lottery Fund

Thanks to the Government in partnership with the National Lottery Fund, we were able to transfer some BiG C.I.C. activities online, delivering our learning and inspirational services, under the BiG Inspirations Online project. We are pleased to see that we were able to fulfill our mission statement through online activities with our USP - using CYP’s own interests to engage them in activities to aid development in the areas that BiG is committed to.

Lambeth Council

Many of our services are focused in the London Borough of Lambeth and we are grateful for the support we receive from Lambeth Council. We have received funding from Young Lambeth Coop’s making Summer Memorable Fund, where BiG was voted by young people 3 years in succession to deliver its 2-in-1 programme, including; football programmes, children and youth, and work experience scheme for older teenagers and young men and women.

Thanks to Lambeth Council we have also received funding to start delivering activities online due to the challenges Covid-19. We are able to engage children and young people in fun healthy activities like the BiG Morning Routine, and young adults were able to share their experience and challenges with lockdown, in particular the impact on education as a form of support community.

Kick-it Out

We are grateful to Kick IT Out for funding our Grassroots Development Programme, under its Grassroots Activity Fund. With this funding, we were able to deliver a football programme targeted at 11 to 15-year-old boys, which developed social and personal skills using football. They were able to develop team working, leadership, communications, and problem-solving skills, they developed resilience which contributed to improved emotional well-being.

We want to work with you

We want to work with you by using public funding allocations to address social issues under our 3-pillars - motivation and education, health and well-being under our football and recreational strand, and employability issues - the development of employability skills and tackling unemployment.

PLEASE GET IN TOUCH IF YOU have any funding opportunities that you think WE can help - INFO@BIGCIC.ORG.
